Terms of service
1. Who
These terms are between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [ADDRESS], [COUNTRY], registration [NUMBER], VAT [VAT ID] ("SearchBind", "we"). Contact: hello@searchbind.com.
2. What SearchBind delivers
SearchBind plans deliver software output: audit results, a prioritized list of recommended changes, generated code snippets and content drafts, delivered as a report. Plans do not include implementing the changes on your website or profiles. Implementation is a separate, optional service described in section 5.
3. No guarantee of AI rankings, mentions or revenue
AI engines decide what they cite. We recommend changes supported by our checks and published research; we do not track where you appear. We do not guarantee any mention, citation, position, traffic or revenue outcome.
4. Plans, payment, withdrawal
- Every plan is a one-time payment in USD through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record: Dodo is the seller on your receipt and charges any VAT or sales tax due. VAT is added where required, and every payment comes with an invoice. This is not a subscription: nothing renews and nothing is charged again unless you buy again.
- A paid plan includes one full report: the audit, the fix list and, for the Website plan, content drafts, delivered as a private report page plus an email within 24 hours on business days after payment. The report stays accessible afterwards. To run the plan again, you buy it again.
- Right of withdrawal: because work on the audit starts right after payment, you ask at checkout for the service to start at once and agree that your right of withdrawal ends when the audit report is delivered. [REVIEW WITH LAWYER]
- Prices shown are launch prices and apply to purchases made while they are published. We may change prices for new purchases at any time.
5. Implementation service
- Rate: $50 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments after you approve the completed work.
- Cap: implementing the complete current SearchBind site fix list costs at most $150 in total, regardless of hours spent.
- Scope of the cap: the items on your SearchBind site fix list, as described on the implementation page. Work outside that list is estimated in advance and approved by you before we start.
- You grant us limited access (staging, branch or restricted CMS role) and remain responsible for backups and for approving changes before they go live.
- Some platforms do not permit certain changes; we tell you before starting and apply the closest alternative.
6. Your responsibilities
You confirm you have the right to audit the websites and profiles you connect, that any data export you upload is your own or you are authorized to use it, and that you will review generated content before publishing it. You are responsible for what you publish.
7. Acceptable use
No auditing third-party sites in ways that violate their terms, no abusive request volumes, no reselling output as your own product without a written agreement. Agencies may use SearchBind for client work under the plan limits.
8. Intellectual property
You own the content you upload and the content drafts and snippets we generate for you. We own the software, the checklists and the reports' format.
9. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. Support is by email in English, Monday to Friday, with answers normally within one business day.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may stop using SearchBind and delete your account at any time.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY]. Courts of [CITY, COUNTRY] have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the EU online dispute resolution platform.
13. Changes
We will post changes here with a new date and email account holders about material changes.
